António Miguel Dias da Silva was born in Coimbra, Portugal. He quit his course in Economics to pursue his passion for music. From 2014 till 2016, António Silva is one of only 4 musicians selected for the master degree “Nordic Masters in Jazz” which takes him to study and live in 3 different countries: Finland, Sweden and Denmark. He also studied composition privately American teacher Glenn Jordan teacher of the “Equal Interval System”. He has recorded three Albums: two with his group Ararur and one in his name. In 2013 his first CD “Ararur” is awarded internationaly in the “13th Independent Music Awards” with 3 prizes: “Best Jazz with Vocals Album” selected by a judging panel, “Best Jazz with Vocals Album” and “Best Jazz with Vocals Song - “Ela” voted by people all around the World.
