Midnight Clover artfully blends disparate styles to create a lush and evocative sound. Amber Corby layers her seductive and dynamic vocals over a rich soundscape with elements of grunge and new wave sprinkled liberally with a funky pop sensibility. Roman on bass and Jimmie Bohn create a complex and enjoyable rhythmic backbone for guitarists Johnie Stomp and Amber to drape the atmospheric melody over. This band offers complexity of spirit, presenting a diverse collection of sounds at every turn that echo of the stylistic preferences of PJ Harvey.
