A longtime staple of Montreal’s music scene, Shawn Thicke writes, records, and performs quirky, alternative rock confessions that could only come from his humorously unhinged mind. Since late 2015, he has been working on the concept album Welcome To Popland, which explores his struggle with the music business. This process has given birth to three self-released tracks that have been well-received in local circles, and have pushed him to be a spokesman for rock weirdoes everywhere.
