Al is "The Recording Engineer" of our time. He is one of the major behind-the-scenes contributors to the growth of popular music, jazz and rock n roll of our era. During his career, Al has recorded and mixed more than 500 projects and 150 gold and platinum albums. He was inducted into the TEC Awards Hall of Fame in 1997, and received the Grammy Trustees Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. He has won a total of 18 Grammy Awards, more than any other engineer or mixer. In addition, he was awarded two Latin Grammy Awards in 2000, including Album of the Year. He recorded and produced with Frank Sinatra, Henri Mancini, Ray Charles, Stelly Dan, Diana Krall, Madonna, Toto, Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young, Jackson Browne.

Having achieved great success in his native country, Australia, with a nomination for ARIA Engineer of the year and many multi-platinum albums to his name, Cameron decided to move to the UK in 1996 to further his career.

Chris Brown is a London based music producer, recording/mixing engineer and composer. He has worked in the recording industry for over 20 years and has over 40 UK chart credits. Chris started his career as assistant engineer at Utopia Studios, London in 1987, and later moved to the world-famous Abbey Road Studios, where he remained for 10 years, progressing to Senior Engineer. Among his credits: Radiohead, Muse, Starsailor, INXS and Natalie Imbruglia.

San Diego based producer/engineer, Christian Cummings grew up in Southern California and started making music at a very young age. Christian began his career in music performing in Hollywood as a teenager. As he grew as an artist so did his goals and skills. In his early 20s Christian was a veteran touring musician, having shared the stage with everyone from the Foo Fighters to Snoop Dogg.

In 2007 Christian toured as the drummer for Ken Andrews, performing much of Ken's catalogue including classics from his band Failure (who's musicians have gone on to become members of A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Autolux and Nine Inch Nails). Also released in 2007, Christian is featured on the live album for the Secrets Of The Lost Satellite tour. He has also worked with producer Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Thrice, Boys Like Girls, The Used), Producer/Engineer Steve Churchyard (The Eagles, INXS, Amiee Mann, The Pretenders, Sex Pistols), Japan's BENNIE BECCA, Producer/Engineer/Mixer Mark Endert (Fiona Apple, Madonna, Maroon 5).

Starting as a guitar player in his teens and then soon exploring the beat and sounds machines of modern technology, electronic music crafter Eraldo has worked with a platoon of "sound terrorists" such as bassist/producer Bill Laswell and Mick Harris (of Napalm Death, Scorn, and Lull). These collaborations have up to this day provided an array of releases and shows. Along with the aforementioned artists, the last 15 years have seen collaborations with musicians and artists including Harold Budd, Russell Mills, Toshinori Kondo, Raiz, Almamegretta, Thomas Fehlmann, Zu, Trevor Dunn and a host of others.

"I've been defined a sound alchemist. I love working on strong acts and extremely emotional music, either ambient or death metal but emotions must be there! I'm a musician myself and I recorded/produced more than 110 albums ranging from metal to dub from jazz to electronica and much more".

Jordon Zadorozny, Canadian producer and multi instrumentalist is the singer and songwriter for indie rock band Blinker the Star. He is best known for co-writing songs with Courtney Love and working on several projects with American producer, Ken Andrews. He recorded and produced with Melissa Auf Der Maur, Sam Roberts and worked with Chris Cornell in 2011. As of 2007, Jordon is a member of Canadian indie band SheLoom. Jordon is one of the most gifted all-round indie musicians you can find in Canada these days.

Julian has always had a passion for music, composition and arrangement - from his student days spent busking the streets of Paris, to gigging with a band as a singer/guitarist in Boulder, Colorado, USA.

He left university in 1990 and went on to work as a runner for BBC Radio One in London, and then as in-house sound engineer at the independent production music studio, Soundstage, recording, mixing and editing production music for TV and Radio use.

In 1996, he joined Metropolis Mastering in London as an editor, but soon progressed to become a mastering engineer in his own right. His mastering room at Metropolis was equipped for EQ'ing both stereo & 5.1 surround, using analogue or digital paths, as well as vinyl cutting on a Neumann VMS 80 lathe.

Since 2006, Julian has continued to offer his mastering and editing services to a pool of regular clients on a freelance basis from his home studio.

His mastering credits include Bent, The Charlatans, Cher, Faithless, Feeder, Janet Jackson, Live Aid, Manic Street Preachers, My Excellence, Scissor Sisters, Sugababes, and Robbie Williams.

Julie is one of the most important voices at FM4, Vienna.

"I was Born in Dublin, Ireland (1971). I Went to Gaelic language secondary school Coláiste Íosagáin and Studied Media Communications at DCU (Dublin City University, graduated 1993). I Spent one year in San Francisco before moving to Vienna in 1995. There I worked as producer/presenter for BDR (Blue Danube Radio) from 1998-2000. In 2000, I found a "home" at FM4. Since then, I have been the presenter of the music/entertainment show, “Update”, on FM4. I also do voice overs, moderations, and live DJing. (I am a hobby singer in an acoustic duo, and have sung all my life. Music is a great passion of mine)"

In the last 12 months their remixes have also included Example, Wretch 32, Chris Brown, Fenech-Soler, Studio Killers and many more.

Their remixes are regularly in the Top 10 of dance, club and pop charts in the UK, US and Germany, whilst their remix edits are also wildly popular with radio stations, gaining support on BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Capital in the UK, plus across Rhythmic radio stations in the US.

Philip co-wrote and produced Erasure frontman Andy Bell's Electric Blue album. Philip Larsen has additionally won a Grammy award for his mix work on Kylie Minogue's Come Into My World.

Multitalented singer, songwriter, engineer, guitar player. John Fishell is an accomplished singer/songwriter working on his craft since studying music composition at James Madison University.  He has performed in a variety of settings ranging from small clubs to theaters either in a solo acoustic context or in a full band structure.   John is also an accomplished engineer and producer with album credits ranging from jazz (David Liebman, Mike Stern, Joe Lovano, Ravi Coltrane) to world music (Deepak Ram) to rock (Earth to Andy, Warner Bros., Ryan M. Brewer).  John has committed himself to working on his own album project, with brief interruptions as he continues to work with up and coming artists.John is the Director of Music Technology at Indiana University.

Sum is an accomplished songsmith/MC that has collaborated with a number of Grammy winning, platinum and cutting edge producers from across the world including Ski Beatz, Needlz, Belief and Blockhead. The Los Angeles resident is a former International Songwriting Championship Finalist [2004], and his work has appeared prolifically on Television (Breaking Bad, etc), Film (Notorious) & Video Games (Saints Row IV, etc). Once the Assistant Editor at RIME Magazine, Sum is now the Hip-Hop Mgr at Earbits Online Radio and Creative Director for his own boutique label & consulting operation, Precious Metals. He is also frontman and founder of electronic/funk/hip-hop band The Milky Way.

Jon Astley is a British record producer and renowned mastering engineer who also recorded and released two albums as a singer-songwriter in the late 1980s. His most commercially successful song was “Jane’s Getting Serious”, later popularized by a Heinz ketchup television commercial starring a pre-Friends cast member Matt LeBlanc.

As a producer, he is best known for his work with The Who and the remastering supervision for all of the group’s back catalog reissues.

His most notable A&R successes include signing Feeder, Roisin Murphy, Moloko, I Am Kloot, Ray LaMontagne, The Blackout, Funeral for a Friend, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Morcheeba, Babybird, and Utah Saints. He has achieved numerous platinum, gold and silver albums and top 5 hit singles.

Venturing into the world of management, Darrin set up his own company and discovered Jay Jay Pistolet, who later went on to form The Vaccines. Darrin is currently working with Feeder & Grant Nicholas in a management and label capacity, as well as lecturing A&R and Artist Development at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in the UK.

Moving to the UK and specializing in guitar, he obtained a 1st-class honours degree in Popular Music Performance at the BIMM Institute in London. Recently, Maxime has set up a company, Obadia Productions, and opened his own recording studio in East London. Maxime is currently in the studio producing and playing on various projects, most importantly as founder member of new alternative pop duo Indigo Face.

Douglas regularly participates as a panelist at music conferences, including Slacker Canadian Music Week, Western Canadian Music Awards and the Canadian Country Music Week. At several events, he has presented the interactive workshop, “Behind the Glass, An Insider’s Look at Record Production.” He is known for his musicality, his clear and amiable leadership style, his strong communication skills and his dry sense of humour. He lives in Toronto, Ontario, with his wife and two daughters.
